| Limbaugh Has Own View of Steinbrenner (NOTE LANGUAGE) |
NEW YORK (AP) -- Radio commentator Rush Limbaugh has weighed in with his own view of George Steinbrenner, saying "that cracker made a lot of African-American millionaires."
The New York Yankees owner died Tuesday at age 80. On his show, Limbaugh also said Steinbrenner also fired "a bunch of white guys as managers left and right."
The Rev. Al Sharpton calls Limbaugh's statements "repugnant and offensive whether they were intended to be facetious or tongue and cheek."
