NBA Contracts Roundup
UNDATED (AP) -- One day after meeting with the New York Knicks and New Jersey Nets, prized free agent LeBron James is talking with the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Clippers. And he will visit with the Chicago Bulls and Cavaliers today.

The Cavs are counting on hometown loyalty to re-sign the two-time MVP, who has spent all of his seven NBA seasons in Cleveland.

The Mavericks say they've made Dirk Nowitzki a "significant" contract offer and hope to get a response as soon as Saturday.

A person with knowledge of the situation says Amare Stoudemire's days with the Phoenix Suns are over after the team reached contract agreements with forward Hakim Warrick and center Channing Frye. The two agreements mean any deal with Stoudemire would put the Suns far over the amount the franchise is willing to pay.

You can scratch Paul Pierce from the NBA's talent-laden free-agent lineup. A Celtics official tells the Associated Press that the team has agreed to terms with the veteran forward. Pierce has spent his entire 12-year career with Boston.
