| Foster Makes Comeback En Route to All-City Lead |
Mack Foster surged to the head of the pack in the 3rd Round of the Galesburg Men's All-City Golf Tournament Saturday at Bunker Links.
Foster shot a -2 Saturday to take the lead, after being +3 after eight holes. Foster's 208 after three rounds is two shots better than 16-year old Kelby Rescinito, who fired a -4 (67) on Saturday. Jake Scott, who led the first weekend of the tournament, went +2 on the day and is three-shots back. Defending champion Coby Thompson is in fourth.
The championship is Sunday.
In the senior division, six-time All-City Champ Pete Boynton is this year's winner shooting a 238, followed by Dave Dunn and Rod Standard, who tied for second. |
