Torre Never Says Never on Managing Future
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Los Angeles Dodgers skipper Joe Torre says he's not ruling anything out, but he doesn't anticipate managing anywhere else, including Chicago.

Torre's name has emerged as a possible candidate to replace Lou Piniella, who is retiring as Cubs manager at season's end.

Torre is in the third and final year of his contract with the Dodgers, and during spring training he asked the club to put off discussions on a possible extension. He turned 70 last week, and has said he'll decide his future in the next month or so.

Dodgers owner Frank McCourt is embroiled in a contentious divorce from his estranged wife Jamie, who contends that she also owns the team. The trial is set to begin Aug. 30.
