| Galesburg Legion Team Routs Two at Moline Tournament |
Galesburg American Legion Post 285 continues their winning ways, defeating two opponents at the Moline Legion Tournament Saturday. Post 285 dominated East Moline 7-1, thanks in part to Jake Milligan going 2 for 3 including 3 RBI's. Chris Fields went 2-1 en route to the victory.
Then, in game two, Post 285 Routed Elk Grove 24-8. Nick Milligan was the winning pitcher despite giving up all 8 of Elk Grove's runs. 14 of Post 285's runs came in the 7th inning alone. Zach McCrery, Caleb Weaver, and Nick Lee all homered, while Jake Milligan and Derek Schwab each had four hits -- part of a 25-hit game.
The Moline Tournament Finals are Sunday. Post 285 goes into the finals with a record of 21-3. |
