| Post 285 Scores Nearly 30 Runs in 2 Victories |
The Galesburg Legion baseball team took advantage of 14 walks and 7 wild pitches by Brimfield hurlers to take the nightcap of a doubleheader Tuesday at Sundburg Field.
Post 285 won the marathon by a final score of 19-14, after also taking the first game 15-2 in five innings. Jacob Milligan and Caleb Weaver stroked home runs to power Galesburg in the opener, as the team improved its record to 24-4 on the season.
