| 2 More Post 285 Victories Ahead of Home Season Finale Sasturday |
The Galesburg American Legion Baseball team is closer to the end of the season, and closer to getting 30 wins, after a pair of shut-out victories over Canton Friday night at Sundberg Field 10-0, and 9-0. Post 285 scored in every inning in game one, including through a Chris Sugden three-run home run. In game two, Post 285 got a home run from Nate Olin, and jumped out to a 6-0 lead after just two innings. Nick Milligan was the winning pitcher in game one, while Tim Russell got the win in game two.
Post 285 plays in their home finale Saturday afternoon at 2, in a double-header versus East Moline. They're 28-10, and have a 7-game winning streak going. |
