The Galesburg American Legion Baseball team plays in the championship of the 15th District tournament after winning a pair of games Friday. Colton Crain was the winning pitcher as Post 285 got a 6-1 victory against Farmington. But game two proved to be more difficult. Post 285 was down 5-2 after six innings, but three runs scored in the 7th inning and two more in the 8th, including a Nate Olin home run, along with a one-run 9th thanks to a Seth Morling single gave Post 285 the 8-7 victory over Quincy. Jesse Hines was the winning pitcher in that one

Post 285 is now 33-11, and will play versus Canton.
