| Legion Takes 2 in Moline Tourney |
The Galesburg American Legion baseball team opens a weekend tournament with a pair of wins. Post 285 traveled to the Moline tournament Friday and defeated Omaha, Nebraska 13-7, and then dominated Palatine 10-0.
Post 285 now has a 27-11 record and continues on Saturday in the tournament, taking on Ottawa at 9:30am, followed by Macomb at 3pm.
Meanwhile, Monmouth and Oneida are among the teams taking part in the Henry County tournament Saturday. |
