The Cal Ripken 10 year old state baseball tournament begins tomorrow evening in Galesburg, as the host team plays Evergreen Park at 5:30, followed by Geneseo against Homestead at 7:30. Tournament organizer Jim Melvin of Galesburg Youth Baseball League says there's not much time to spare as they host several events in the next few weeks.

A home run hitting contest is scheduled for Friday night, when all of the teams will be in town and have a chance to participate.
