| Streaks Boys 5th in Opener |
GHS' varsity boys golf team turned in a solid effort Tuesday in their season opener at the Raider/Redbird Classic held at ISU's Weibring Golf Course.
The Streaks finished with a team total 302 to take fifth in the 22-team field. Mahomet-Seymour won the meet on a fifth man score decision with a 299. Rockford Harlem was the runner-up.
Kelby Rescinito and Chad Moore both shot three-over 74's to lead the GHS scoring. Jacob Schwieter and Logan Scott shot 75 and 79, respectively.
