| No Sophomore FB Game for GHS vs. Chicago Academy |
There will now be a varsity-only game to open the season for the GHS football team.
GHS says Chicago Academy does not have a Sophomore team to field, so there will not be a Sophomore game on August 27th to open up the regular and home football seasons for the Silver Streaks.
The athletic department says gates will now open at 6:30pm on Friday, Aug. 27, for the Streaks varsity game, which will start at 7:30pm.
