Stanley Cup at State Fair
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) -- Add the Illinois State Fair to the many locales visited by the Stanley Cup.

Fans of the Chicago Blackhawks, who currently hold the cup as the National Hockey League's champions, may see and take pictures of the trophy after it arrives at the fairgrounds in Springfield at 1 p.m. Friday.

Upon its arrival, Lord Stanley's Cup will be paraded down Grandstand and Illinois avenues to the intersection of Main Street for an official unveiling.

The trophy will return to the fairgrounds Saturday and will be on display at Main Street and Illinois Avenue from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Blackhawks won their first Stanley Cup since 1961 in June with a six-game series win over the Philadelphia Flyers.
