|Cardinals to Start Anderson Against Bears
|LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) -- It's Derek Anderson's turn. For how long? That's to be determined.
The Arizona Cardinals' quarterback situation is up in the air. Coach Ken Whisenhunt decided to shake up a struggling offense and start Anderson at quarterback over Matt Leinart in Saturday night's preseason game against the Chicago Bears.
Whisenhunt says the offense is something they're looking to improve this week.
Leinart was penciled in as the starter after Kurt Warner retired. But he's failed to lead the offense to a point in the preseason and couldn't even get a first down in his three series against Tennessee in a 24-10 loss Monday.
So the Cardinals are giving a start to Anderson, who competed with Brady Quinn in Cleveland and was brought in after spending five years with the Browns.
