| Rams Confident They Made Right Investment |
ST. LOUIS (AP) -- It's been five days since No. 1 draft pick Sam Bradford signed his deal with the St. Louis Rams that guarantees him $50 million.
The Rams have no regrets. They had several months to assess not only Bradford's surgically repaired shoulder, but his character, before making the deal.
Before vice president of football operations Kevin Demoff hit the negotiating table with Bradford's agents, the Rams had seen the quarterback in rookie minicamp and in OTAs. They took note of his interactions off the field, too. (Copyright 2010 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) |
