|Official: Sportscaster Likely Died of Heart Attack
|CHICAGO (AP) -- Authorities say a heart attack probably killed a Chicago sportscaster who was found dead in his Atlanta hotel room last May.
An initial autopsy on the body of 38-year-old WMAQ-TV sports anchor Daryl Hawks was inconclusive.
But the medical examiner's office in Fulton County, Ga., says a microscopic examination of tissues indicates Hawks likely died from a heart rhythm problem caused by high blood pressure.
Hawks was in Atlanta to cover the Chicago Bulls-Atlanta Hawks NBA playoff series.
