Forte Happy to See New Bears Offense
BOURBONNAIS, Ill. (AP) -- Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte expects to be more than the last resort receiver for quarterback Jay Cutler this season.

The offense of new coach Marc Trestman always relies extensively on backs catching passes in the open field, and Forte's versatility has led to talk he could become the NFL's second 1,000-yard rusher and 100-catch running back.

If Forte becomes a bigger threat as a receiver, it's likely to take away touches from Brandon Marshall, who became a one-man receiving corps last year when the Bears finished 10-6.
