| Michigan Newest Team to Crack Associated Press Top 25 College Football Poll |
UNDATED (AP) -- Michigan is back in the Top 25 for the first time since 2007.
The Wolverines are 25th in this week's AP College Football poll after stunning then #18 Notre Dame 38-34 yesterday. Michigan's 2-0 start is making fans forget their dismal 3-9 record last season. Michigan's gain is Notre Dame's loss. The Fighting Irish have dropped out of the poll. Florida is still at the top of the rankings, followed by Texas, Southern California, and Alabama. Mississippi and Penn State are tied for fifth. Oklahoma State suffered the biggest fall dropping 11 spots to No. 16 after being upset by Houston.
