| CSC Volleyball Team Goes 1-3 at Augustana College |
The Carl Sandburg College volleyball team won one of four matches the Chargers played Saturday at the Augustana J-V Volleyball Tournament.
CSC lost to fellow Arrowhead Conference member Black Hawk College in the opener 26-24, 12-25, 10-15. Sandburg then lost its the second match to the St. Ambrose College JV team 12-25, 14-25 and dropped its third match against Loras College 21-25, 19-25.
CSC picked up a win in in the final match of the day, defeating Augustana Club 20-25, 25-17, 15-10.
Trisha Beswick led the Chargers with 50 assists and 4 aces. Brooke Thompson added 23 kills, Stacy Boys was next with 17 kills. |
