Ridgewood stopped Abingdon in three games: 25-18, 31-29, 25-23. Ashley Kruger had 10 kills and 20 digs and Michelle Williams had 6 blocks and 24 assists for the Spartans. Melissa Von Kannon had 14 kills and 3 blocks, Cordon Jones added 11 service points and 15 assists and Dana Combs recorded 8 digs for the Commandos.

Monmouth-Roseville defeated Farmington in two games: 25-18, 25-19. Rebecca Gillen had 7 kills, 6 blocks and 9 digs for the Titans. Taylor Woods contributed 13 assists. Monmouth-Roseville won the junior varsity match in two games and the freshman match in three.

Lewistown downed Beardstown in two games (25-14, 25-19). The Indians (9-4, 2-0) got 9 kills and 11 points - including 2 aces - from Emily Sosey. Kalie Bainter added 7 kills and 5 blocks, Kristyn LeGrande contributed 7 kills and 6 assists and 3 blocks, and Kristen Porter had 14 assists. ---
South Fulton defeated Meredosia in straight sets (25-19, 25-16). Haley Bent led the Rebels (10-7) with 11 service points and 11 digs and a block. Carly Beebe added 10 kills.
High School Boys Golf
Galesburg won a dual meet against Farmington at Bunker Links. The Silver Streaks, led by Nick Anderson's 1-over par 37, defeated the Farmers by 40 strokes (152-192). Three other GHS golfers shot under 40: Logan Scott and David Blake with 38s and Kelby Rescinito a 39. Adam Camp paced Farmington with a 41. Galesburg's junior varsity team also won. Joey Juergens carded a 39 for the Streaks' top score.

Williamsfield edged Knoxville by five strokes (166-171) at Laurel Greens. Billtown's Jacob Northrup was the medalist with an even-par 36. Cameron Slate led the Blue Bullets with a 40.
High School Girls Golf
Galesburg won a quad at Pine Lakes against Morton, Pekin and Bloomington Central Catholic. The Streaks shot 164. Jessica Lieber earned medalist honors with a 39. Kat Mangieri fired a 40 and Marissa Vinson a 41 for Galesburg (15-3). Bloomington Central Catholic finished second, six strokes behind Galesburg. Pekin was third (181) and Morton fourth. Allie Johnson shot a 60 for the Streaks junior varsity team.

Knoxville came up short (167-187) against Rock Island Alleman at Saukie Golf Course. Taylor Thompson fired a 38 to lead the Blue Bullets. Abby Ball was next with a 42. Alleman's top score was a 37 (Courtney Giesemans).
Junior High Football
Lombard's 7th grade team lost at Kewanee 14-0. The Zephyrs (2-1) were led by Cody Sibley's 53 yards rushing. Keymon Irby ran for 39 yards and Malek Austin had 33 for Lombard.
Christian Powers and Gabe Hilman each had 5 tackles to lead the Zephyrs' defense. Powers also had a quarterback sack and Sibley intercepted a pass.
