Cubs to Open 2011 Season Against Pirates
CHICAGO (AP) -- The Chicago Cubs will open next season with an April 1 game at Wrigley Field against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Cubs released the team's tentative 2011 regular season schedule on Wednesday. It will be the 136th season for the Cubs. The season opens with a three-game home series against Pittsburgh and a three-game home series against Arizona.

Team officials say it's only the second time in the last ten season that the Cubs have had their first game at home.

The Cubs will take its first road trip of next season to play the Milwaukee Brewers, Houston Astros and Colorado Rockies.

The Cubs will play the White Sox next June 20-22 at U.S. Cellular Field and then July 1-3 at Wrigley Field.
