CARBONDALE, Ill. (AP) -- Henry Harris ran for 142 yards and two touchdowns, including a 67-yard score in the fourth quarter, as Southeast Missouri rallied to defeat Southern Illinois 24-21 Saturday night.

Harris' long TD run, with 3:41 remaining, capped the Redhawks' rally from a 21-3 deficit.

Mike Jones scored from a yard out for Southeast Missouri (2-1) late in the third quarter to make the score 21-10. Harris' 14-yard touchdown run cut deeper into the Salukis' lead.

The Salukis (1-2) went ahead after an early Redhawks field goal on Steve Strother's 91-yard kickoff return. Paul McIntosh hooked up with Matt Guinn for a 36-yard touchdown to give Southern Illinois a 14-3 lead at the half, and Shariff Harris ran in from 3 yards to make it 21-3 late in the third quarter.
