ISU Beats Missouri St. in 2 OT's
NORMAL, Ill. (AP) -- Stephen Fetzer's 39-yard field goal in the second overtime was the difference as Illinois State defeated Missouri State 44-41 Saturday night.

The Redbirds (3-1, 2-0 Missouri Valley) trailed 31-23 entering the fourth quarter, but Fetzer kicked a 20-yard field goal and Ashton Leggett's 15-yard touchdown run with 2:08 remaining put Illinois State ahead. Matt Brown passed to Marvon Sanders for the 2-point conversion to make it 34-31, but Jordan Chiles' 26-yard field goal as time expired tied it for the Bears (1-2, 0-1).

Leggett ran for his fourth TD of the game in the first overtime, and the Bears tied it again on Cody Kirby's 1-yard run. Chiles missed from 42 yards before Fetzer's kick won the game.

Brown threw for 391 yards and a touchdown for Illinois State. Kirby ran for 84 yards and three TDs and passed for 187 yards and another score for Missouri State.
