ST. LOUIS (AP) -- St. Louis Blues forward Jason Arnott is having surgery to remove cataract from his right eye and is expected to be out a week.
The 36-year-old Arnott sign signed a one-year free agent contract in July and is expected to add veteran presence to a roster built around recent high-round draft picks. The procedure was scheduled for Wednesday.
Arnott had 17 goals and 14 assists in 73 games last season for New Jersey and Washington. (Copyright 2011 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) |
