Monmouth Roseville Defeated Rock Island 1-0 in soccer today.
The Monmouth Roseville Boys Team placed first in the Titan Invite 3-Mile Run this morning. Quincy Notre Dame was second; Rockridge, third; Mcaomb, fourth; Farmington, fifth; Annawan-Wetherfield, sixth and Illini Bluffs, 7th.
The Monmouth-Roseville Girls placed 1st the Titan Invite 3-mile Run, followed by Macomb, Mercer County, Annawan-Wetherfield, Quincy Notre Dame and Rockridge.
In the Men's mixed three mile run, Monmouth-Roseville placed third.
Carl Sanburg College Men's Cross Country team had three finishers, but no team score at the Brissman/Lundeen Cross Country Invitational in Rock Island Friday. The CSC Women's Cross Country team finished 32nd.
In football today, Knox College lost to Lake Forest College today 13-34. Monmouth College took on Cornell College and beat them 31-28. Western Illinois University's homecoming game ended in defeat to Illinois State 3-23.
At the Knoxville Volleyball Tournament today, Wethersfield received 1st place and Knoxville came in second. |
