Golf
The Western Big-6 Golf Tournaments are being held Monday, with the girls here in Galesburg and the boys in Quincy. The Silver Streaks girls are favored to win their event, while the Streaks boys team is likely to be chasing the host Blue Devils for the title.
Volleyball
Three area volleyball teams will be on the road for matches Monday night, including the ROWVA Tigers who go up Route 34 to play the rival Galva Wildcats. Elsewhere, the Knoxville Blue Bullets head east to play Elmwood/Brimfield, and the Monmouth-Roseville Titans travel to Farmington.
Other GHS
Several other Galesburg High School varsity teams will see action Monday, as the girls tennis team plays in Kewanee, while the boys soccer team hosts Peoria Christian. |
