North Fulton defeated Knoxville in three games: 25-20, 20-25, 25-20. Stephanie Lance led the Wildcats with 9 kills and 2 blocks. Stefani Martin had 26 digs. Lindsay Olson had 4 kills, 9 aces and 1 block for the Blue Bullets. Andrea Wilhite added 10 digs and Amanda Dotson contributed 12 assists.

High School Boys Cross Country
Knoxville finished third in the 18-team Elmwood-Brimfield Cross Country Invitational at Maple Lane Country Club in Elmwood. Canton won the meet. Elmwood-Brimfield was second and Monmouth-Roseville finished eighth. Farmington's Chase Coffey won individual honors. Knoxville's Brett Curry finished second overall. Lewistown's Nathan Davis was fourth and Monmouth-Roseville's Gatlin Marlow was sixth.

Galesburg High School's varsity team won its fourth straight dual meet against Kewanee 9-0 on the home courts. Results:

Monmouth College's men's soccer team lost at Millikin 3-2. The Fighting Scots (2-7-0) got goals from Eddie Martinez in the 17th minute and Lucas Knox in the 77th minute. The Big Blue improved to 5-6-1. |
