| Spartans Looking to Build on Win Against Rival Michigan |
EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio talks about his team's biggest game. As always, it is the next one. After a 26-20 overtime win against Michigan, the Spartans (2-3, 1-1 Big Ten) will try to reach .500 with their first road win in three tries when they visit Illinois (1-3, 0-2) this Saturday. Dantonio says Michigan State needs to use its last game as a springboard for the rest of the season. Otherwise, it is just a win for state bragging rights. The Spartans expect the Illini to play with passion in their homecoming game. They also expect to see two quarterbacks, new starter Eddie McGee and veteran Juice Williams, who directed an upset at Michigan State in the teams' last matchup in 2006.
