CHICAGO (AP) -- Joakim Noah had 20 points and 16 rebounds to lead the short-handed Chicago Bulls to an 87-86 preseason victory over the Milwaukee Bucks Tuesday night. Hakim Warrick had 25 points for the Bucks, who trailed by eight midway through the fourth quarter and tied the game at 86 with 29 seconds left on a 3-pointer by Jodie Meeks. Jannero Pargo's free throw 5 seconds later gave the Bulls a one-point lead. Chicago's James Johnson missed two foul shots with 14.1 seconds left. After a timeout, Dan Gadzuric of the Bucks missed a tip-in and the rebound went out of bounds off a Chicago player with 2.7 seconds left. Gadzuric then missed a jumper from the right side. The Bulls played without Derrick Rose (ankle), Tyrus Thomas (hip) and Brad Miller (flu). (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) |
