| CSC Men Golfers Finish in Top Three at Prairieview Tourney |
Carl Sandburg College's men's golf team braved the elements and played well in the Fourth Annual Prairieview Tournament hosted by Blackhawk College.
Despite the rainy, windy and cold conditions, the Chargers finished third in the 17-team field with a score of 314. Sophomorre Andrew Ledford led the way for CSC with a 77.
Jordan Lieber followed Ledford with a 78, Chris Neal carded a 79, Luke Kane finished at 80 and Kyle McEwen 81.
The team title was won by Sauk Valley with a score of 309, and the low individual score was Joel Kipping's 74.
The Chargers will participate in the Region IV tournament at the same venue on October 8th through the 10th.
