|Judge Releases Alleged ESPN Reporter Stalker
|CHICAGO (AP) -- Federal prosecutors say the suburban Chicago man accused of making nude videos of ESPN reporter Erin Andrews apparently uploaded videos of other women to the Internet as well.
Federal prosecutor Steve Grimes said Monday the videos, taken through hotel peepholes, were uploaded under a name that has been used by 47-year-old Michael David Barrett, who is accused in the Andrews case. Grimes did not give details.
At a Monday court hearing, U.S. Magistrate Judge Arlander Keys ordered Barrett released with an electronic monitoring bracelet on his ankle. But Barrett was barred from using the Internet and ordered to observe a 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew.
Barrett is next due in court in Los Angeles on Oct. 23. His attorney says Barrett will return to his insurance job.
