| Knox's Second Win May be Difficult |
The Knox Prairie Fire travel to Jacksonville Saturday to play the Illinois College Blueboys.
Knox head coach Chad Eisele knows his team has it's hands full in looking for a second straight win.
"They certainly are going to be on a high after...beating St. Norbert," Eisele said. "Like I told the team after the game (last Saturday), are you going to be satisfied with one win, and relax? Or do you want to change the atmosphere and who we are and what we've talked about doing for the past six-seven months, and are we going to be different?"
WGIL asked Knox head coach Eisele if job one is to slow down the passing of Blueboys QB Mitch Niekamp, who was named the Midwest Conference Offensive Player of the Week in their upset of St. Norbert.
"We've got to be able to do that, but Illinois College in the last two games found a running game as well," Eisele said. "So that makes them doubly explosive. So we've got to be prepared to take care of both."
Knox is coming of it's first win of the season last week, when the Fire intercepted 6 passes in a 31-21 upset of Grinnell.
