Illinois Needs Turnovers, But Can it Get Them?
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) -- Football coach Ron Zook figures Illinois' best defense when the Illini face Indiana and quarterback Ben Chappell on Saturday will be to keep the ball out of the senior's hands.

But Illinois has a few problems as it looks for ways to send Chappell to the sideline and keep him there.

The Illini defense doesn't cause many turnovers, but their offense does. So far the count is 14.

The Illini (3-3, 1-2 Big Ten) created turnovers in what are probably their two best games of the year, the upset at Penn State and a close loss to Ohio State.

But at Michigan State, Illinois caused one turnover and gave the ball away four times in a 26-6 loss.

Safety Tavon Wilson says that game turned on turnovers. He believes Illinois could have won if it had the edge.
