HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL
The Galesburg Silver Streaks got past Quincy on Homecoming Night Friday 26-23. The Streaks led 20-0 at halftime, but Quincy (5-2, 2-2) came back with a pair of third quarter touchdowns and a safety in the 4th Quarter, followed by another touchdown. The Streaks (4-3, 2-2 WB6) now need to win one more win to become playoff eligible.
Knoxville (5-2, 5-0) claimed the title in the Prairieland Conference Blue Division with a victory Friday over winless Rushville-Industry 48-0.
Abingdon got its third straight win with a victory over Bushnell-Prairie City/Avon 40-22.
