All-Conference Teams
Galesburg senior Drew Carlson is the lone Silver Streak to make the Western Big-6 All Conference football team announced Sasturday. Carlson made the defensive unit at the linebacker position, while teammate Tyler Brackett was named honorable mention on the defensive line. Streaks fullback Jonathon Mixon and offensive lineman Manny Veldez also received honorable mention recognition.
In volleyball, Kelsey Meredith of Galesburg made first team all Western Big-6. Quincy and Rock Island both placed four players on the list.
In boys soccer, Silver Streak Andrew Smith made the 10-man all conference team in his senior season.
