| Murray State Rallies, Beats Eastern Illinois 36-27 |
MURRAY, Ky. (AP) -- Casey Brockman threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to Hannibal Beauford and Kevin Robinson forced a fumble to preserve Murray State's 36-27 come-from-behind win over Eastern Illinois on Saturday. With the Racers (4-3, 2-2 Ohio Valley Conference) trailing 27-24, Brockman orchestrated a six-play, 75-yard drive capped by his toss to Beauford with 1:28 left. On the Panthers' ensuing drive Robinson forced a fumble from Jimmy Garoppolo at the Eastern Illinois 20. Mike Harris added a 24-yard TD run with 1 second left as the Racers were running out the clock. Harris finished with 133 yards and four touchdowns on 30 carries. Murray State kicker Kienan Cullen became the school's all-time leader in field goals on a 39-yarder with 3 seconds left in the first half. He now has 50 field goals as a Racer.
