The season is over for the Galesburg High School boys soccer team. The Silver Streaks dropped yesterday's Regional game to Peoria Richwoods 3 to 2 in overtime. Drake Sykes and Tanner Laird scored for the Streaks, who finished the season with 5 wins, 13 losses, and two ties.

The GHS volleyball team goes to the Quad Cites this evening looking for a 2nd consecutive win. Coach Marla Clay's girls defeated Canton in last night's varsity matchup to pick up their 8th win of the season. Today's opponent is Western Big 6 rival Alleman, with the game to be played at Don Morris Gymnasium in Rock Island.

Other volleyball matchups today include Monmouth-Roseville hosting Orion, while ROWVA entertains Williamsfield.

The Galesburg girls swimmers will also be in competition today, as the Silver Streaks look to continue their successful season at Moline.
