Cutler Reacts After Bears Debacle Against Niners
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Jay Cutler says the Chicago Bears offense has to apologize to the defense after Thursday night's 10-6 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Cutler threw five interceptions, all in 49ers territory. Cutler says the Bears defense kept the team in the game even through the turnovers.

Cutler has thrown an NFL-worst 17 interceptions this season. But his teammates still have confidence in their quarterback. Linebacker Lance Briggs says next week Cutler is going to throw the winning touchdown.

The Niners held the Bears to a pair of field goals by Robbie Gould, getting the two key turnovers in the red zone.
