| Orion Tip-Off Classic Begins November 23rd |
POSTED 2:27 p-m 11/13/09 Another of the many Thanksgiving Tournaments to kick off the 2009-10 high school boys basketball season is being held in Orion.
The Orion Tip-Off Classic runs November 23rd through the 28th. The first night of action on the 23rd features three games: Knoxville playing Annawan at 5:30 p-m, Kewanee and Rockridge at 7 p-m and Orion and Fulton in the nightcap at 8 p-m.
Rockridge and Annawan play the first of three more games on November 24th at 5:30. Knoxville squares off against Fulton at 7:00 and Erie plays Sherrard at 8:30.
Sherrard and Kewanee play at 5:30 p-m on the 25th and Orion battles Eries at 7:00 in the only other game that night.
The tournament resumes November 27th with four games: Kewanee against Knoxville at 4:00, Fulton and Sherrard at 5:30, Annawan and Orion at 7:00 and Erie and Rockridge at 8:30.
The final four games November 28th have Knoxville taking on Erie at 4:00, Rockridge battling Fulton at 5:30, Sherrard playing Annawan at 7:00 and Orion going against Kewanee at 8:30.
Admission to the tournament is $4 for adults and $3 for students. Tournament passes are available for $15 for adults and $10 for students. |
