BOYS HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL - @ Galesburg Thanksgiving Tournament
GHS' varsity boys basketball team earned to two victories on Friday in the annual Thanksgiving Tournament.
The Streaks rolled over both Chicago Collins 68-28 and Thornridge 69-44.
With the two wins, GHS' boys take a 3-1 record into Saturday's tournament finale against Urbana. That game will be played after the Hall of Fame ceremony.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS @ MEMORIAL STADIUM in CHAMPAIGN
In Class 1A, Tuscola topped Lexington 14-7 In 2A, Morrison beat Maroa-Forsyth 36-14 In 3A, Stillman Valley beat Tolono Unity 52-22 In 4A, Metamora over Geneseo 41-7 Classes 5A, 6A, 7A and 8A will play their championships today.
College Football
Tony Pike returned from an injury to his non-throwing arm and had a record day yesterday, passing for six touchdowns in fifth-ranked Cincinnati's 49-36 victory over Illinois. Cincinnati, with an 11-0 record, remained one of six unbeaten Bowl Subdivision teams.
West Virginia upset eighth-ranked Pittsburgh 19-16 in their annual Backyard Brawl. Noel Devine rushed for 134 yards and Tyler Bitancurt kicked four field goals, including a 43-yarder as time expired.
College Basketball
Utah rallied from a 16-point halftime deficit to upset 20th-ranked Illinois 60-58. Shawn Glover banked home a runner in the lane at the buzzer to win it. The Illini will take on Bradley tonight in the Las Vegas Invatational
A matchup of the winningest Division I basketball coaches was definitely one-sided. Seventh-ranked Duke and Mike Krzyzewski won its fourth NIT Season Tip-Off with a 68-59 victory over 13th-ranked Connecticut and Jim Calhoun behind tournament MVP Jon Scheyer's 19 points.
That's Coach K's 839th career victory, good for fourth on the all-time list. UConn's Calhoun holds at 809 victories, good for sixth place.
Duke has won this event in 1985, 2000 and 2005 as well as this year.
National Hockey League
Teemu Selanne scored twice on the power play and defenseman Nick Boynton also connected with the man advantage for the Anaheim Ducks, who beat the Chicago Blackhawks 3-0 last night. The Ducks snapped the Blackhawks' eight-game winning streak.
Sports News
It now appears that Tiger Woods was not seriously injured in a car accident outside his Florida home yesterday morning. A spokesman for the world's top-ranked golfer says Wood was treated and released for facial cuts at a local hospital after his Cadillac SUV hit a fire hydrant and tree after he pulled out of his driveway.

In High School Basketball, the Galesburg Silver Streak Girls will play Richwoods tonight at 6pm.
The Galesburg Boys will play Urbana tonight beginning at 8:15, after the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. There are three earlier games during the day as part of the Galesburg Thanksgiving Tournament.
The Illini Men's Basketball team takes on Bradley at 7pm
