Bears Visit Dolphins in Thursday Night Clash
MIAMI (AP) -- The Miami Dolphins are down to third-stringer Tyler Thigpen starting at quarterback when they host the Chicago Bears in Thursday night football.

Thigpen gets the call as Chad Pennington is out for the season with a shoulder injury and Chad Henne (HEH'-nee) is bothered by a knee injury.

This will be Thigpen's first start since 2008 with Kansas City. He played decently in a short stint late in last Sunday's win over Tennessee, going 6 for 12 for 79 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

The Dolphins enter 7-2 and are tied for the AFC East lead with New England, while the Bears come in 6-3 and share first place in the NFC North with Green Bay.

Keep an eye on Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher, who needs four tackles to break Mike Singletary's team career record of 1,487.
