Also in High School Football, Galesburg Athletic Director Ralph Henning reports that Silver Streaks QB Andrew Steck and Defensive End Jared Carl have been named to the state's all-academic team in class 5A. Players have to be outstanding both on the field and in the classroom to receive the honor, and have been named to their conference's first team to make the state team as well. |
