Brandon Thompson led the Streaks with 19 points in the victory, followed by Chad Thompson with 12.

Brandon Thompson dominates again for the Streaks, scoring almost half of the Streaks points in the game with 24, 15 of which came in the second half. Aslaw Butel was next with 10, all of which came in the second half.

The Streaks girls move to 3-2 in the GHS Thanksgiving Tournament, and 4-2 overall. Jessica Howard led the Streaks with 21 points, followed by Jessica Lieber with 15, and Jamie Johnson with 12.

Tyson Parks had 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Streaks.

Spoon River Tip-Off Classic

The championship round will be played December 4th at South Fulton.


Galesburg placed 15th in the Rock Island invitational Saturday. Harlem placed first. Senior Kendra Weichmann had the high series for the Streaks, bowling a combined 1057 on the day. The GHS J/V Squad placed 14th at the tournament. Ashton Lucero's 754 was tops for the Streaks on that side.
