Bradley Forward Sidelined Over Heart Concerns
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) -- Bradley University says forward Taylor Brown will miss the season after the results of recent cardiac testing raised questions about his health.

Coach Jim Les said Friday that doctors want to conduct additional tests on Brown over the next few months.

Brown and other Bradley athletes underwent health screenings over the past week after the recent death of Braves baseball Philip Kaiser Jr. Kaiser had undiagnosed heart problems.

Brown said in a statement from the school that he is disappointed to be sidelined but understands.

Brown is a 6-6 junior from Atlanta, Ga. He started 23 games last season.

Bradley opened its season Friday at home against Texas A&M-Kingsville.
