| Oregon Rallies Past Illini Women |
EUGENE, Ore. (AP) -- Oregon squandered a 16-point halftime lead and more but came from behind in the second half to beat Illinois 77-74 Friday night.
Amanda Johnson scored 31 points to lead the Ducks, one off her career high. Her two free throws gave Oregon its three-point cushion before the Illini missed a final 3-pointer.
Illinois' Amber Moore scored 16 of her 22 points after halftime, including a 3-pointer to give the Illini a 63-60 lead. Illinois (2-2) last led 72-70 on a three-point play by Karisma Penn.
Oregon (2-0) got a free throw from Nia Jackson and two by Jasmin Holliday to go up 73-72 before Holliday collected a blocked shot and scored for a 75-72 advantage.
Oregon led 49-33 at intermission. But Illinois opened the second half with a 23-6 run to pull ahead 56-55, getting 11 points from Moore, including 3 three-pointers.
