| Union Meets, Says More Talks With NBA Owners Ahead |
NEW YORK (AP) -- NBA Players' Association leaders met Thursday in New York, and this weekend they say they'll be negotiating with owners again. Union president Derek Fisher, executive director Billy Hunter and executive committee members say they're unified heading into Saturday's negotiations with the NBA. Fisher and Hunter denied reports of a rift between them after their session Thursday, which lasted around three hours. Owners and players haven't met since talks to end the lockout broke off last Friday over revenue splitting. (Copyright 2011 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) |
