| Bears Climb Into 2nd Place Tie In NFC North |
LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) -- The Chicago Bears are crediting more aggressive defensive play for sparking their four-game winning streak. They say they are worried about some aggressive play outside the rules. The league is reviewing a brawl between the Bears and Lions on Sunday. Chicago defensive back D.J. Moore was ejected after a scuffle with Detroit quarterback Matt Stafford. Defensive end Julius Peppers helped to cause some of those turnovers with pressure up front, sometimes after switching from end to tackle. It's a maneuver the Bears can be expected to employ more Sunday against a San Diego team that has lost four straight. (Copyright 2011 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) |
