Basketball
It's opening night for the Galesburg Silver Streaks boys basketball team, as head coach Mike Reynolds will send his young squad up against the East Peoria Raiders at the Galesburg Thanksgiving Tournament. East Peoria, which lost 24 of the 25 games it played last season, was blown out by tourney favorite Limestone last night 76-40. We'll have pregame coverage beginning at about 7:10 this evening, depending on the length of the first game at John Thiel Gym between Moline and Chicago Englewood.

There's just one game on the area girls schedule for tonight, and that has Abingdon traveling to Monmouth-Roseville for a 6pm varsity start.
