High School Boys Basketball
Galesburg High School's freshman "A" team defeated Alleman 44-42 to improve to 2-2 on the season. The Streaks also won the "B" game 21-13.
The Rowva/Ridgewood Tournament steps off tonight in Woodhull and Oneida.

Macomb-Western Holiday Tournament
Monmouth-Roseville, Abingdon, Bushnell-Prairie City-Avon, Lewistown, Canton and Farmington's boys basketball teams know who they'll play in the first round of this year's Macomb Western Holiday Tournament.
The Titans play Illini West in the opening round of the 16-team tournament, which runs from December 28th through the 30th at Western Hall on the Western Illinois University campus.
Other first-round match-ups have Farmington squaring off against #4 seed Metamora, which returns to the tournament this year, top seed Canton playing Abingdon, Bushnell-Prairie City-Avon against undefeated Pittsfield, the #2 seed, and Lewistown, the #3 seed, with a first-round date against Brown County.
High School Boys Swimming
After two narrow misses, Galesburg came up a winner on Monday, 107-73 against Macomb.
The Streaks (1-2) won six events, including two of three relays. Individual evnt winners for GHS included: Cody Johnson (diving), Drew Anderson (100 butterfly), Ben Whittle (500 freestyle) and Colton Woolsey (100 breaststroke).
