Illini's Three Win Season Leaves Big Questions
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) -- If there's one thing Illinois can take from Saturday's season-ending shootout-gone-wrong at Memorial Stadium, it might be the final stats next to running back Mikel Leshoure's name.

Eleven carries, 184 yards, two rushing touchdowns and one receiving.

But the sophomore's performance in Saturday's season-ending 53-52 loss to Fresno State does little answer the question of what went wrong during a 3-9 season.

Start with the defense. It allowed 30 points a game and Athletic Director Ron Guenther has said head coach Ron Zook will need to make changes.

And then there's Juice Williams and receiver Arrelious Benn. Neither lived up to high expectations for 2009.
